Allice L. Simmons, 98, died on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

Allice was born on June 21, 1920 in Sidell, Illinois to Clyde P. and Ina E. (Gallion) Weaver. She graduated from Covington High School in 1939 and married Carl Kenneth Simmons on December 16, 1939. Together they would raise their daughter in Muncie.

She was a long time member of High Street Methodist Church and was the interoffice mail carrier for Eaton Ag Center. Allice had her pilot license and enjoyed flying with her husband Carl. Most of all Allice enjoyed spending time with her family.

Her loving family includes her daughter: Erma Jane Barlow (Steve); two sisters, Ruth Powell and Mildred Shepherd; two granddaughters; Lisa Pryor (Jackson) and Betsy Weems (Marty); her great-grandchildren: Kenneth Pryor, Kathleen Pryor, Joe Weems and Max Weems.

In addition to her parents and husband Carl, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul "Jack" Weaver and two sisters, Ruvilla "Billie" Brown and Virginia Roach.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 at Wolf Creek Church, County Road 286, Kingman, Indiana 47952 with Rev. Stacee Fischer Gehring officiating. Burial will follow at Wolf Creek Church Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2th 2018 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St. ,Eaton.
