Colleen M. Yoder, 89, died on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at her home.

Colleen was born on January 20, 1929 in Grant County, Indiana to William and Josie (Hedrick) Cochran. On March 12, 1950, she married Clifford Yoder in Van Buren, Indiana. Together they would raise their four children and celebrate 68 years of marriage.
Colleen worked for Sheller Globe in Montpelier and later at Delta Middle School, retiring in 1994. Clifford and Colleen enjoyed traveling, especially camping.

She is survived by her husband, Clifford Yoder; her children: Michael Yoder (Jean), of Marion, Clifford "Butch" Yoder II (Denise), of Muncie, Barbara Reed (Doug), of Greenfield and Christine Schnaitter, of Anderson, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, caregiver and friend, Brenda Smith, as well as several nieces, nephews and her friends at Cambridge Square.

In addition to her parents, Colleen was preceded in death by four sisters: Helen Smith, Pauline Cochran, Edna Yoder and Irene Welsh.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton with Brian Waters officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday prior to services at the funeral home.
