Maggie Darlene Welder, 74, died at her home on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, after an extended illness.


Darlene was born on June 9, 1950, to Robert and Nettie (Walters) Morrow. She grew up in northern Delaware County and married Charles Welder on June 26, 1975.


Over the years, Darlene worked for Sinclair Glass and Kerr Glass. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by those who loved her.


She is survived by her children: Christine May, Patricia Hoover and Michelle Pryor; stepchildren: Glenna Welder and Larry Welder; her brother, Floyd Marrow (Annette); grandchildren: Derrick May (Lise), Grant Hoover (Rachael), Nicholas Kelly (Paige Flick), and Taylor Glover; great-grandchildren: Damien May, Ripley Hoover, Maeve Hoover, Katie Fry and Jame Fry.


In addition to her parents, Maggie was preceded in death by her husband Charles Welder, and a grandson, Kaleb Glaser-Hoover.


Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S Hartford St., Eaton. Burial will follow at Eaton Union Cemetery.


Visitation for family and friends will be prior to the funeral on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.


Darlene's family would like to thank the nurses and staff at IU Health Hospice, especially Christy, Jamie, Ron, Adrienne, and Angel, for their kind and compassionate care of their mother.
