Dennis R. Cox (66) passed away on Wednesday, June 24 at his home surrounded by family after an extended illness. He was born on August 9, 1959 in Muncie, IN to James L. Cox and Caroline Sue Cox (Barton). He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

Dennis worked construction with his dad as a child and then later formed Cox and Son Remodeling with his son Justin, where he retired from in 2025. He was known by everyone who knew him as being kind, honest, respectful and accepting of everyone. He loved watching the kids' ball games and spending time with his family, you could always find him with a grandchild in his arms.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jennifer M. Cox (Gadbury), his children Kari Bramlett (Shad), Justin Cox (Casey), Sunshine Cox, Jacqueline Rymer (Richard), Chester Bailey III, and a granddaughter he raised, Avery Bramlett, 11 other grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Dennis was loved by many people and will be missed and cherished every day.
