Donald D. "Buddy" Blair passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at his parents residence after an accident involving vehicle repair.

Buddy was born in Hartford City on September 29, 1960 the son of Max & Delphia (Trammel) Blair and was a 1978 graduate of Delta High School.

Public service was a passion of Buddy's, as well as many other members of his family. Donald was a charter member/founder of Eaton Ambulance (now Eaton E.M.T.'s), was a reserve officer for the Delaware Co. Sheriff's Department, and had served with the Ridgeville Police Department. Buddy was also 20 year member of the Eaton Volunteer Fire Department, where he held numerous certifications, including Instructor, Haz-Mat, and 1st Responder.

He leaves behind his daughters: Angela L. Blair, Alissa Marie Miller and Chelsea Nicole Miller; his parents, Max & Delphia Blair of Eaton, two brothers, Randy Blair (wife, Sandy) and Michael Blair (wife, Kim); his grandmother, Elsie Trammel of Muncie and two grandchildren, Gabriel & Abbigail St.John, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Teena in 2015.

Visitation for friends and family will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 23rd, at the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton.

Funeral services will be private for the family and cremation will follow. Interment of cremains will be at Union Cemetery, Eaton.
