Donna C. McAmis, 91, died on Friday, July 16th, 2021 at her home.

Donna was born on July 22, 1929 in Delaware County to Frank and Lillian (Curtis) Clevenger. One of eleven children, Donna grew up near Eaton and graduated from Eaton High School in 1947.

Donna was a hard worker and worked several jobs over the years. She worked for 3M, Eaton Elementary School and Producer's Dairy. Donna was a former member of the Eagles Lodge in Muncie where she loved to dance.

She was a self-taught cook and worked from memory. Many family members had their own favorites of Donna's and she would happily make those dishes. She loved to camp but she especially loved to garden and took great pride in her flowers.

Donna is survived by her children, Bobby McAmis (Patti) and Kim McAmis; granddaughter, Lynn Ritner (Brad); great-grandson, Austin Ritner (fiancée, Casey); her faithful and loyal companion Benji; special friends, Danny and Cindy Cox, Kathy Wright and Melissa Gaw and several special nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her siblings: Marguerite Fox, Frank Clevenger, Kathryn Williams, Phyllis Brooks, Betty Jane Clevenger, Barbara Rodgers, Howard Clevenger, Harold Clevenger, Roberta Johnson and Beverly Borror

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor Mark Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory, Muncie.

Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20th and from 12:00 Noon until service time Wednesday.
