Doris Jean Pryor, 84, passed on December 29th surrounded by loving family. Doris was born November 25, 1934 to Josh & Mary (Hughes) Pryor. She had five siblings; Burlyn Allen, Glenn Allen, Eva Angel, Junior Allen and Nathaniel Allen.

Doris married Claude Gordon Pryor April 3, 1953 and they lived most of their lives in Eaton, Indiana and had four children together. Their children are Gene Pryor, Sharon Glaser, (Bill) Jenny Rouse (Randy) and Jackson Pryor (Lisa).

Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Claude Gordon Pryor, brothers Burlyn, Glenn, Junior and a sister Eva and her children Jenny Rouse and Jackson Pryor.

Doris loved all of her family dearly and is survived by her brother Nathaniel (Rosie), children, Gene Pryor and Sharon Glaser, grandchildren Michael Pryor (Glenda) Jesse Pryor ( Renee') Matthew Pryor (Natalie) Jenny Connor (Rick) Jacob Glaser, Shane Slavin (Dana) Kenneth Pryor and Kathleen Pryor along with many great grandchildren and nephews and nieces.
Doris was a member of the Avondale Sympathy club.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton. Burial will follow at Eaton Union Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends well be prior to services Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
