Effie Jane Alexander, 80, died on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Albany Health Care and Rehabilitation.

Effie was born into the Sloas family on December 22, 1940.  She worked several jobs over the years from, the cleaners while living in Chicago to the Stop & Shop and Sunoco in Eaton. Effie loved all animals and critters, especially her cats.

Effie is survived by her companion, Jeff Bricker; a brother Billie Sunday Sloas; sister, Martha E. Scott; close friends, Scott and Vicky Lawson and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Effie was preceded in death by her husband, George Robert Alexander in 2011; three brothers: John Sloas, Braxton Sloas and James Sloas and three sisters, Kay Summons, Mary Jame and Annie Keaton.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Eaton Union Cemetery 16301 N State Road 3 North, Eaton with Pastor Mark Wilkerson officiating.
