Elizabeth "Liz" Mitchell, died on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

Liz was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on January 20, 1955 to Daniel and Elizabeth "Betty" (Harrington) Mouyard. She graduated from Charlerol High School and married Jerry "Jake" Mitchell on July 31, 1981.

Liz worked for Dacra Glass in Hartford City and loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and camping.

She will be missed by her husband of 36 years, Jake Mitchell; her children: Heather Wilson, Carrie Mitchell, Allie Mitchell, and Casey Mitchell (fiancé, Justin Cox); nine grandchildren: Kiara Gilland, Drew Mitchell, Trey Mitchell, Codie Thrash, Xavier Wilson, Elizabeth Mitchell, Michael Bond, Ebin Cox and Caroline Cox; a great-grandson, Draven Mitchell; seven brothers and sisters; her mother and father-in-law, Robert and Sharon Mitchell as well as many nieces and nephews.

Liz was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers and sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor Glenn Harding officiating. Burial will follow at Eaton Union Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 2nd and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday.
