Elsie Mae Trammell, 98, died on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Signature Health and Rehab in Muncie.

Elsie was born on December 11, 1919 in McCreary County, Kentucky, to Crit and Grace (Strunk) Stephens. On August 17, 1935 she married Floyd Trammell in Kentucky.

They would move their family to Indiana in 1953 where Elsie would work for Sheller Globe and later the Butterfield Canning Company in Eaton. She was a long time member of the Eaton First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Delphia Blair (Max) of Eaton, Amber Trammell (George Pease) of Eaton; two brothers, Donald Stephens and Ralph Stephens (Kim); two sisters, Annabelle and Shirley June; grandchildren: Michael, Randy, James, Julie, Tonya, Charlie, Donald Ray, Cory, Skyler, Devan, and Charlie; several great and great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Elsie was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Trammell; three sons: Don, Jimmy and John Trammell; brothers: Lamoine, Harold, Jackie and Orville Ray; sisters: Bessie and Mary Fay, and a grandson, Donald "Buddy" Blair.

Elsie will be privately buried at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
