Hope Ann Grimes, 60, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Albany Health and Rehab.

Hope was born in Muncie on December 17, 1965, to Vern and Mary Lorena (McCoskey) Dudley. She was a 1984 graduate of Eastbrook High School and in November of 1989 she married Tracy Grimes and together they made their home in Eaton.

Hope worked as a paper carrier for the Indy Star as well as the Muncie Star for many years. She enjoyed playing cards, board games, watching soap operas, cheering on the Colts and Pacers and being with her cats. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving family includes her husband, Tracy Grimes; her son, Casey Grimes (Katie); two grandchildren: Brantley Grimes and Raine Grimes; her mother, Mary Lorena Dudley; and her brother Dan Dudley.

Hope was preceded in death by her father, Vern Dudley.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home 200 S Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor Scott McClain officiating.

Visitation will be prior to the funeral service starting at 11:00 a.m.
