Judy Ann Meadows, 79, died on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.


Judy was born on November 30, 1943 in Muncie, Indiana to Wesley and Dolly (Wallace) Comer. She attended Royerton High School and married Lowell Dean Meadows on January 2, 1960. Together they would raise their 5 children in a Christian household, teaching them from the beginning to live by love and by faith.


Judy was a member and attended of the Northside Church of the Nazarene since she was two years old. She taught Sunday school for many years and was awarded a Distinguished Service Award for her service to the church.


Judy worked for Sheller Globe in Montpelier, retiring after several years of employment.


She is survived by her children: Lowell Dean Meadows Jr. (Jenny), Debbie Harper (Paul), Dolly Fowler (Eric), Susie Taulbee (Joe) and Rachel Reynolds (Kyle); sister, Shirley Retter; eleven grandchildren: Christopher Hathaway, Krystal Hathaway, Connor Hathaway, Eric Fowler Jr., Logan Fowler, Joel Taulbee, Megan Taulbee, Courtney Smith, Abby Meadows, Macie Cline, and Paige Holler; as well as seventeen great-grandchildren and her special fur baby, Little D, AKA Yappy.


In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Lowell Dean Meadows Sr., her parents and a sister, Linda Dillie.


Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January, 12, 2023 at the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S Hartford St., Eaton with Chris Holler officiating.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.


Visitation for friends and family will be at the funeral home from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11th and after 12:00 Noon prior to the funeral services Thursday.
