V. June Lye, 88, died December 5, 2022 in Murfreesboro, TN at Alive Hospice after residing with her son Dennis.

June was born March 17, 1934 in Plymouth, Indiana to John and Lois (Favors) Masterson. She was a 1952 graduate of Eaton High School and married Howard Lye on July 5, 1952 in Eaton. Together they would raise their three sons in Eaton.

June raised her family in the Christian Church in Eaton and later attended the East Jackson Street Church of God.

She is survived by son Dennis and wife, Gloria. Grandchildren: Andrew, Michael, Chelsea, and Rodney. Great-grandchildren: Kyah and Katelynn, beloved friend and daughter-law-law, Pam Green and many friends from the Eaton and the neighborhood

In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband, Howard and two sons: Kevin Lye and Rodney Lye.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17th, 2022 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home 200 S Hartford St., Eaton with Brian Waters officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory, Muncie.

Visitation for family and friends will from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 16th at the funeral home.
