EATON, IN

Mabel C. Williams, 85, went to be with the Lord, Friday, April 20, 2018 in IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Fentress County, Tennessee May 30, 1932 to Wm. Roy and Orpha (Beaty) Reagan.

She married Rev. Claude D. Williams in Albany, KY on December 3, 1949 and was a devoted pastor's, wife, retiring from Kerr Glass of Dunkirk after 20+ years of employment.

Mabel enjoyed many winters with her husband fishing and hunting shells in Florida and won many fishing competitions against her husband on Lake Salamonie. She enjoyed gardening, mushroom hunting and berry picking. Her love for the Lord and her family knew no bounds.

She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star as well as the Ladies Auxiliary of the O'Leara-Quirk Post of the Eaton American Legion.

Surviving are five children: Patricia "Pat" Russell, Eaton, Claude E. (Helen), David A. (Vicki), Daniel (Diane) and Cynthia J. (Nancy). One brother, Hollens K. Reagan (Sandie Ridge), sister-in-law, Avonda (Doyle) Litton, sister-in-law Leona Simmons, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins and her long-time friend, Janet Stanley.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Claude Williams on Nov. 25, 2007, three brothers, Hollens Keith Reagan, Jr., Wirt Reagan, and Royal "Doc" Reagan, one sister, Mary Neal, son-in-law Joe Russell, grandson, Matthew Russell and a great-grandson, Zachary Jamison.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, at the chapel of Union Cemetery, 16301 N. State Rd 3 Eaton Indiana, with Pastor Dewayne Loveless presiding. Private burial follows the service.

Pitman-Richman Funeral Home of Eaton is handling arrangements.
