Eugene Pursifull, 89, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

Eugene was born on February 5, 1928 in Eaton, Indiana to Paul and Emma (Gilland) Pursifull. He attended Eaton schools and served his country in the US Army.

Eugene married Karen Kay Boyle on February 20, 1997 in Delaware County. Eugene worked for BorgWarner, retiring after several years of employment.

Survivors include his children: Rita Ferrell, Kim Caudill, Heidi Vaughn, Rhonda Hayes (Tony), Melinda Bertram, and Deidre Frazier as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Pursifull, a son Gary Pursifull, daughter, Lori Holiday, and a sister, Betty Jane Shane.

Private services were held at Eaton Union Cemetery on Monday, November 20, 2017.
