Robert “Bob” Fisher, 91, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at The Waters of Hartford City.

He was born on September 3, 1934, to Wilbur and Lila (Snider) Fisher. Bob graduated from Eaton High School in 1952 and married Sara B. Sailors on July 28, 1956, and together they made their home in Eaton.

Bob farmed and worked at Delco Battery for 20 years until he started farming full-time. Farming was his passion and he also enjoyed collecting and restoring antique tractors.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family most of all.

Survivors include his children: Jeff Fisher (Peggy) of Eaton, Sandy Fisher of Eaton, and Doug Fisher (Chris) of Dunkirk; six grandchildren: Erik Fisher (Adrienne), Lindsay Hack (Todd), Craig Fisher (Kinsie), Jenna Scott (Doug), Kristy Smoot (Evan), and Jon Fisher; two sisters, his twin, Roberta Douglas and Carol Ann West as well as eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife Sara, his parents, and three sisters, Dorothy Ellen Fisher, Norma Mae Keller and Marthadel Terrell.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Eaton Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 11 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and one hour prior to services Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
