Roy V. Schaus, stepped into glory to meet his Savior on March 2, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Roy was born in Muncie on June 3, 1968 to Roger and Jean (Harrington) Schaus. He was a 1987 graduate of Delta High School and later attended Ivy Tech. On June 24, 2000, he married Karen Overman and together they would raise their two daughters.

Roy worked for Del Com School Corporation for several years as an IT Specialist. Along with his family, he attended Rising Hope Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Schaus; two daughters, Kaleigh Schaus and Khloe Schaus; his parents: Roger Sr, and Jean Schaus; two brothers, Roger Schaus Jr. (Sharon) and Rob Schaus; two sisters; Julie Robertson and Jeni Friedersdorf (Troy); as well as several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Roy was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Brian Robertson.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Rising Hope Church, 1500 W Cowing Drive, Muncie, IN 47304 with Pastor Mike Hewitt officiating. Burial will follow at Eaton Union Cemetery.

Visitation for friends and family will be at the church from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8th and after 11:00 a.m. Saturday.
