HARTFORD CITY, IN-

Teresa M. Bess, 58, passed away Friday morning, February 10, 2023 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.

She was born in Muncie on June 11, 1964, the daughter of David K. and Mildred M. (Hart) Bess and graduated from Delta High School, class of 1982.

Teresa enjoyed horseback riding, but her favorite was fishing.  She had even taken trips to Florida to go fishing.

She earned her Associates degree and was a faithful employee and proud machinist at Nishikawa Standard Company (Nisco) of Topeka, Indiana.

Surviving her is one daughter, Emma L. Bess; her sister, Mindy (Mark) Pepitone of Hartford City; nephews: Josh Pepitone and Tony Goodwin as well as several cousins. Also surviving, is Emma's father, Matthew Moore of Kendallville.

In addition to her parents, her brother David Bess precedes her in death.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 16th in the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton, Indiana. Rev. Tim Smith will be presiding.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie.

Visitation for friends and family will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
