Tiara Cheyenne Elness, 31, left this life unexpectedly on Friday, August 25, 2023.

Tiara was born on May 20, 1992, in Muncie, Indiana to her parents, Van Padgett and Connie Jones. She graduated from McCutcheon High School in Lafayette and attended Ivy Tech. Later, she graduated from Christina's Beauty College in Lafayette.

On May 20, 2015, she married Benjamin A. Elness.

Tiara was a stay-at-home mom and loved devoting herself to her children and her niece and nephew.

All Tiara ever wanted in this world was to be a mother, and she was a great one! She treasured her babies and embraced every single moment with them. Her radiant smile, infectious laugh, and incredibly kind heart will be missed by all that were lucky enough to know her and love her.

She is survived by her children: Lakeland, Journey "JoJo" and Rayfe Elness; husband, Benjamin Elness; mother, Connie Jones (William Jones); father, Van Padgett; her sister, Bre Roberts (Tyler) and their children, Savannah and Knox; her step-brother Garrett Jones, her dog, Ruby as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Tiara was preceded in death by her daughter, Freya Elness on August 25, 2018, as well as her grandparents, John and Edith Davis and A.G. and Avo Padgett.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on September 2, 2023, at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home 200 S Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor Tony Shaw officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory.

Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00.
