Betty Hogan

Betty L. Hogan, 86, died on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Kingston of Miamisburg after an extended illness.

Betty was born on August 24, 1938, in Iowa City, Iowa to Roy and Lena (Hartgers) Gregory. She graduated from Center High School in 1956 and later married Thomas Hogan.

Betty lived in Eaton from 1956 until 1975 where she worked for Hogan Drug Store. After moving to Ohio, Betty worked for Wallick Properties in Dayton for several years.

She is survived by her children: Allen Vance (Vicki), Lavon Vance Sr. (Peggy); grandchildren: Rachel Runyon (Chip), Lavon Vance Jr. (Melanie), Aubrey Driscoll (Matt), Alesa Marshall (Lannie), Dustin Vance and Katie Rodefer; her brother, Leroy Gregory (Doletta); sister, Joann Whited (Fred); as well as several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Hogan in 1993, daughter, Shari Moore and her sister, Helena Daughtery.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery 10703 N State Road 3, Muncie.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home 200 S Hartford St., Eaton.
