Carolyn J. Campbell, 87, died at Willowbend Health Care on Friday, January 24, 2025, after an extended illness.

Carolyn was born in Eaton, Indiana on November 28, 1937 to Carl and Esther (Wood) Reynolds. She attended Eaton schools before her family moved to Muncie, where she attended Muncie Central. On October 1, 1955, she married Emil Campbell.

Carolyn worked at Meadow Gold in Muncie prior to having children. Once the family expanded, Carolyn stayed at home to raise the children and manage the home. She was skilled at crafts and was especially talented at making and decorating cakes. She enjoyed shopping and attending to her beautiful flowers.

She is survived by her children: Larry Wayne Campbell (Emily), Shonda Campbell, and Cheryl Hull (Tom); her sister, Marcia Dill; grandchildren: Megan Johnson (Jeremiah), Ember Campbell (Brenan Marlow), David Campbell, Autumn Brown (Neil), Michael Campbell and Jeffrey Campbell; several grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Emil in 2011; her daughter, Sherri Campbell in 1966; her son, Gail Lee Campbell; siblings: Nancy, Patricia and Carl Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor Troy Kaufman officiating. Burial will follow at Eaton Union Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friend will be prior to the funeral on Wednesday from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m.
