Deborah Sue Bales, 64, passed away on December 27, 2023, at her home in Eaton, Indiana after a long illness.
Debbie was born at Ball Memorial Hospital to Robert and Becky Eppard on February 6, 1959. She graduated from Delta High School in 1977, then being employed at Indiana glass. After graduating from Ivy Tech, she was a paralegal for the Cross Marshall Law Offices from 1989 until 2002, moving to the Cross Law Firm until her retirement in 2019.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Becky Eppard, a sister, Edna Eppard, a son, Justin Bales and a sister-in-law, Stephanie Eppard.
Debbie is survived by her sons: Adam Bales (Melissa) and Cody Bales (Brittany Brooks), brothers, Bobby Eppard, Bill Eppard (Cindy), John Eppard (Arleen), Danny Eppard (Kristen), a sister-in-law, Lori Eppard; grandchildren: Ciara Bales, Alixx Philebaum-Ray, Avangeline Philebaum, Ava Harvey and Myles Lee as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S Hartford St., Eaton.
