Destiny R. Phillips-Johnson, 34, passed away on August 18, 2022 from a suspected aneurysm or one of the several medical conditions she was battling for several years.

Destiny was born on March 26, 1988 to Monty and Judy (Stockton) Phillips. She was a 2006 graduate of Muncie Central High School and worked at several local business around Delaware County.

On February 20, 2015, she married Radar Johnson. Destiny was a devoted mother, daughter, sister and wife who lived for her children. She loved music, poetry, writing, crafting and junkin’ with Aunt Cathy.

She is survived by her husband Radar Johnson; children: Samara Smith, Kash, Londyn and Zayne Johnson; step-daughter, Phoenix Johnson; her mother, Judy Phillips; sister, Desiree Phillips; father and mother-in-law, William and Jackie Johnson; brother-in-law, Billy Johnson; two nephews Aiden Faulkner and Deuce Phillips; a niece to come, Genesis Phillips as well as several other aunts, uncles, cousins and her special friends/sisters: Amber Conaster, Danielle Luttrell and Brittany Lee.

Destiny was very close to her to aunts and uncles Bim and Cathy Burnum, Terry and Alice Stockton and Dan and Susan Soloman.

Destiny was preceded in death by her father, Monty Phillips and a brother-in-law, Anthony Faulkner.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home 200 S Hartford St., Eaton with Rick Monroe officiating. Burial will follow at Black Cemetery, Albany.

Visitation for family and friends will be held prior to services on Monday from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m.
