Harold Wiliam Burge Jr., 62, died on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
Harold was born on August 3, 1962, in Anderson, Indiana to Harold Sr., and Sharon (York) Burge.
Harold, the “Motorcycle Man”, “Muncie’s Legend” or better known as “H”, was well known for his work on racing bikes. Harold formerly owned and operated Race-Teck Engineering in Eaton. He wasn’t just handy; he was a master of all trades and was a talented artist. Harold had three major blessings in his life, his daughter, Julie and Derrick Penrod and Landon Crago, whom he considered his sons. He had many special friends.
Harold enjoyed creating and caring for others.
He is survived by his daughter, Jule Overla; stepsons: Derrick Penrod and Landon Crago; grandson, Jacob Overla; two brothers, Michael Burge and Pat Metheny; his sister, Vicki Huston; life-long friend, Jackie Boyer, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Sharon and Bob Chisman; his father Harold Burge Sr.; two brothers, Billy and Vince Metheny and two sisters, Cindy Clevenger and Tammy Burge.
Memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S Hartford St. Eaton.
