Jack D. Foster, 78, died on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Dunkirk.
Jack was born in Kentucky to Merle and Elma Foster and later moved to Dunkirk. He was married to Margaret Ann (Davenport) Foster. Jack worked independently as a contractor and handy-man. Jack enjoyed playing guitar and loved searching for small treasures at local garage sales and auctions.
He is survived by his children, Jackie Cooper and Christine Martinez; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a sister Jean Jernigan; step-children: Judy Sorrell, Bill Hunt, Peggy Myers (Kenny), Tim Hunt (Kim) and Rick Hunt (Lana) as well as several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Elma; his wife Margaret Ann Foster and step-children, Kenny Hunt and Janet Huffman.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Dunkirk IOOF Cemetery 825 East 12 North, Dunkirk, with Pastor Tom Fett officiation.
Pitman-Richman Funeral Home of Eaton is entrusted with arrangements.
