F. Jackie Mansfield, 89, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 surrounded by her family.
The daughter of Vincent J. and Mabel Jane (McNichols) Cheney, she was born on September 5, 1931 in Eaton.
Jackie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She attended the Living Hope Church and enjoyed serving the Lord with her sister Jean.
In her earlier years, Jackie worked for Douglas Furniture and RCA. Her favorite job in her life was being a mother and a homemaker.
Besides her loving Yorkie “Teddy”, Jackie is survived by her five sons, William McCollum (Lori), Windsor, Charles McCollum (Kim), Winchester, Keith Mansfield (Paula), Kearneysville, West Virginia, Randall Mansfield (Linda) Dunkirk, Joe Mansfield (Lori), Muncie, one daughter, Beth Powell (Ron) Brighton, Colorado; 16 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Mabel, her husband Robert L. Mansfield, brothers, Robert and John Cheney, sisters Jean Mitchell, Eileen Hines, Martha Lovett, baby sister Patricia Cheney, one grandson Wesley Adam Mansfield and one granddaughter, Krystal Gayle Mansfield.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton.
Funeral services will be held following visitation at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, with Andy McCollum officiating. Burial will follow at Eaton Union Cemetery.
