Jackie “Jack” R. Meadors 73, passed away suddenly on September 1, 2021 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. 

Jack was born on October 18, 1947 in Whitley City, Kentucky. He was born to Bill and Myrtle (Black) Meadors. 

Jack enjoyed working on cars but most of all loved wheeling, dealing, and trading those vehicles. 

Another favorite pastime was sitting on the porch just taking everything in. And if you happened to walk by you would know he never knew a stranger. 

However, his true love was his family. He was always so proud of his family and loved telling any and everyone he could. If you had at least one conversation with Jack, then you know this to be true. 

Jack is survived by his children: Tonya Meadors (Josie Miller), Jay Meadors (Angie), Jack Meadors (Heather), and Misty Meadors (Mandi Smith). Three brothers, Billy Meadows (Glenna), Jerry Meadows (Karen), and Scott Meadows. Five sisters, Faye Byrd (Jr.), Sharon Kidd(Melvin), Debbie Perry(J.C.), Pat Stephens, and Lisa Meadows. Grandchildren Cody, Justin, Jacob, Macey, Kashala, Maddie, Cassidy, Kaden, and Paxton. As well as several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother Ron Meadows. 

A memorial service will be held from 11-12 Thursday, September 9th, 2021 at Urban Light Community Church at 1400 S. Madison St. Muncie IN. Family will gather after from 12-3.
