James Michael Clark Jr., 21, died unexpectedly on Monday, February 16, 2026, in Upland, Indiana after suffering injuries from a motor vehicle accident.

James was born in Muncie, Indiana on August 16, 2004, to Brittney Williams and James Clark Sr. He attended Eaton and Blackford Schools and later worked at several different factories in the area.

From a young age, James was always on the go. He was always outdoors, playing with 4-wheelers, cars and trucks. He enjoyed spending time with his grandfather, Derious Clarks and his uncle, Steven Brown, hanging out with his friends and playing video games.

James is survived by his parents, James Clark Sr. (Miranda Montero); Brittney Williams (Kriss Moody); siblings: Lila Clark, Cadence Mitchell, Aubrey Williams, Jazlan Montero, Ava Montero, Daylan Montero; paternal grandmother, Juanita Clark; maternal grandmother, Jennifer Osborne (Jim), Uncle Steven Brown as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Derious Clark, who helped raise James and was his best friend and his Uncle Brian Brown.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S Hartford St., Eaton.
