James Allen Pearcy

MUNCIE, IN--   James Allen Pearcy, 60, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

Born in Muncie, on August 23, 1963, he was the son of Willie M. and Norma Jean (Bowlin) Pearcy and was a life resident of the area.  He worked in maintenance for Ball State University, then Old National Bank.

He loved country music, was an avid coon hunter and was a member of the Eagles Lodge, #231.

Survived by his sister, Janice Morris; brother, William A. Pearcy and his best friend since childhood, Eric Fowler, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents; infant twin brothers; three sisters:  Pat Summit, Anita Morris and Faye Mace.

Services will be held at True Light Baptist Church, 805 N. Country Club Road, on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023 beginning at 2:00 P.M., with Rev. Dennis Trimble, officiating.  Burial will be at Black Cemetery, Albany, following the services.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Thursday, at the church.
