Janeva "Jan" Hedge

Janeva Ann “Jan” Hedge, 56, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Jan was born on October 8, 1962 in Muncie, Indiana to William Ashcraft Sr. and Kathryn (Cavanaugh) Ashcraft.  She was a 1981 graduate of Delta High School and married Glen R. Hedge on April 5, 1986.  Together they would raise their two daughters.

Jan worked for the Eaton Pantry and also Meridian Foods in Eaton.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kyla Hedge and Loren Hedge (Justin Blazier); two grandchildren, Glen Blazier and Landon Blazier; her father, William Ashcraft Sr.; siblings: Bill Ashcraft, Ronda Gambill (Wayne), Duke Ashcraft (Robin), and Fred Ashcraft (Shawn Hosier); as well as several nieces and nephews.

Jan was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Hedge; her mother, Kathryn Marie Ashcraft, and her paternal grandparents who raised her, Loren and Merle Ashcraft.

Memorial visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton.

Private burial will be made in Eaton Union Cemetery.
