Jean Withers, 74, died on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

Jean was born in Muncie, Indiana to Alvin and Pauline (Spears) Goodman. She attended Cumberland County High School near Burksville, Kentucky before returning to Delaware County, Indiana.

On June 10, 1992 she married Don Withers. Jean work for Lifetouch in Muncie, retiring in 2000 after 25 years.

Jean loved to read and loved the outdoors. She had a passion for humming birds, gardening and fishing.

She is survived by her husband Don Withers; her sister, Ella Odiorne (Daniel); brother, Robert Goodman; two grandchildren, Jamie Smith (Andy) and Taylor Hatch, brother-in-law, Ken Withers (Mary), as well as several nieces and nephews.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Alvin S. Goodman Jr.; a sister, Caroline Jo Goodman and her grandparents, Burr and Rosie Spears.

Funeral services will be private for the family. Burial will be made at Gardens of Memory, Muncie.
