John C. Wolf, 78, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Bethel Pointe after a brief illness.


John was born on October 20, 1947, to Lawrence and Edith Mae (Warren) Wolf. He graduated from Monroe Central High School in 1967 and went on to serve his country in the US Army during Vietnam, where he was awarded a Purple Heart.


On May 31, 1988, he married Sara E. Wright and together they made their home in Farmland. John worked as a pressman at Duffy Tool retiring after over 30 years of employment.


John was an active man who enjoyed scrapping, mowing and caring for his lawn. He was a member of Jayland Antique Car Club and various bowling leagues.


Survivors include his children: Wendy Buckmaster (Mike) and Mark Wolf (Loretta), stepchildren: Duana Jones (Rick) and Bruce Jones (Glenda); granddaughters: Kylee Redford (Joseph) and Kedra Slater (Aaron); great-granddaughter, Maisie Slater; grandson, Chad Jones as well as his niece, Dawn Willen and his nephew, Rick Wolf.


John was preceded in death by his parents, Edith and Red Wolf; his wife, Sara Wolf; and a brother Larry Wolf.


Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor Zach Kennedy officiating. Burial with Military Rites by the Delaware Veterans Honor Guard will follow at Eaton Union Cemetery.


Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 Saturday, at the funeral home.
