Karen Kay Pursifull

Karen "Kay" (Boyle) Pursifull, 75, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016 with her family by her side at the Woodlands in Muncie.

She was born on July 7, 1941 in Winchester, Indiana to Oren Clifford and Clara Virginia (Babb) Fletcher. Kay would go on to graduate from Muncie High School and marry Eddie Lee Boyle on March 23, 1960. Together they would raise their six children. Eddie preceded her in death in 1984.

Kay worked for Indiana Bell as a phone operator and also with her husband at M&M Bus Company where she retired after 21 years of employment.

In 1997, Kay married Eugene Pursifull.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene Pursifull, her children: Kim Caudill, Heidi Vaughn, Rhonda Hayes (Bill), Melinda Bertram, and Deidre Frazier, two step-children, Gary Pursifull and Rita Pursifull, her half-sister, Linda Williams, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her first husband, Eddie Lee Boyle, a daughter, Lori Ann Holiday, half-sister Susie Wooten, a grandson and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor Steve DeLisle officiating. Burial will follow at Eaton Union Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 to 1:00, prior to services.
