Kayla Dawn Ball

GASTON, IN KAYLA DAWN BALL, 22, rural Gaston, passed away Thursday morning at home, after a nearly 3 year battle with cancer. The daughter of Warren “Sonny” and Nancy Ball, she was born September 5, 1986. She was a 2005 graduate of Wes-Del High School. Kayla had worked with her parents at Kayla’s Kones. Kayla is survived by her beautiful daughter Kyla, parents Warren “Sonny” and Nancy Ball, Gaston, paternal grandmother, Marie Ball, Albany, aunts and uncles: Robert Norton (wife, Marge) Lapeer, MI, Marilyn Ottevaere (husband, Jim) Washington, MI, Ronald Norton, Warren, MI, Greg Ball (wife, Kim) of Redkey, as well as many cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Warren H. Ball and maternal grandparents, Stanley & Frances Norton. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2009 in the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton with Pastor Joe Hines presiding. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Eaton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, and also one hour prior to services Wednesday. Memorials may be made to Mutual Bank 3701 W. Bethel Ave. Muncie, IN 47304 to establish a fund for her daughter Kyla.
