Muncie, IN

Kimberly Jill “Ruste” Vallerie, 63, died on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

Ruste was born in Jay County, Indiana to Bonnie Gene “Bud” and Calista Ann (Linn) Davenport. She attended Delta Schools and graduated from Riverside Christian Academy in Kentucky.

In 2000, she married Vee Vallerie and together they would share the next 23 years together.

Ruste was a long-time member of the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Muncie and enjoyed spending time supporting LGBQ activities.

Surviving is her spouse of 23 years, Vee Vallerie; children: Katherine “K.C” Eversole (Dwight), Buddy Gootee and Winston Neace; two sisters, Shawn Davenport and Angel Alter; grandchildren: Christian Eversole, Parker Alderson and Prudence Neace.

The family will hold a celebration of life at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 4401 N Wheeling Ave., Muncie, Indiana 47303 47304 with Pastor Robert Abner officiating.

Friends and family may gather at the church prior to services starting at 1:00 p.m. and are invited to stay after the services to share in a meal and fellowship.

Pitman-Richman Funeral Home of Eaton, Indiana is entrusted with arrangements.
