Latricia Fay (Dawson) Hunt

Latricia Fay Hunt, 79, passed away on Wednesday evening, December 24, 2025 at Signature Health Care after an extended illness.

Fay was born in Muncie on August 12, 1946, to Charles and Helen (Noel) Dawson. She attended Royerton schools and married Richard A. Hunt on August 11, 1962.

Fay worked for Prestige/Lifetouch Portraits for over thirty years. She was a member of Muncie Moose Lodge #33 and Eagles Lodge #231.  She also enjoyed Bowling, Bingo and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her children: Melinda Winters (Terry), Troy Hunt (Cheryl), and Kellie Garringer (Donnie); nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; her special cousin: Jimmie Dawson, as well as her new, special and dear friend, who was Fay’s comfort provider, Heather Fields.

Fay was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Helen Dawson; husband, Richard Hunt; son, DeWayne Hunt; sister, Patricia Irwin and two brothers, James Dawson and DeWayne “Chuck” Dawson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton, Indiana with Pastor Ty Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Eaton Union Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday from 11:00 to 1:00 pm, prior to services.
