We celebrate the life of Michael Shelton, who was born on March 10, 1957, in Hartford City, Indiana. Michael, affectionately known as Mike, was a beacon of loyalty and love. 

Mike was a true family man who loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. On October 22, 2004, he married the love of his life, Sharon Shelton, and together they created a lifetime of precious memories. Mike was a dedicated laborer at Arrowhead Plastics, where his hard work and dedication were highly valued. When he wasn't working, you could find him enjoying a game of pool, billiards, or cards, or mastering solitaire. He was a man who found joy in the simplicity of life.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife, together for over 39 years, Sharon Shelton; daughter, Amber Thompson (TJ Wood), their children, Jasmine Wood, Logan Bright, Makaya Wood, and Mackenzie Wood and his grandpuppy Loki. He also leaves behind his sisters, Karen Bolt, Stevie Jo Salyer, and Becky Cooley. He is preceded in death by his mother, Roberta Shelton, and his siblings, William Shelton, John Shelton (Deb), and Jeanne Ann Sluder.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Mike's life and share their memories of him at the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 South Hartford Street, Eaton, Indiana, 47338. Calling hours are set for Monday, August 7, 2023, at 1:00pm EDT, with the funeral service following at 2:00pm EDT.
