Minnie L. Wilt

MUNCIE - Minnie L. Wilt, 93, passed away Monday, February 2, 2009 at Muncie Health & Rehabilitation Center, Muncie. The daughter of James Douglas and Fanny A. (Marcus) Terry, she was born January 8, 1916 in Sikeston, Missouri. Her family moved to the New Castle area when she was a child. She attended Cowan Schools. She married Keith Wilt on October 8, 1934 in Shirley, Indiana, he preceded her in death on November 4, 1975. For most of her adult life, Minnie lived in the Eaton area, where she was a homemaker. She attended the Eaton Church of the Nazarene, and the Assemblies of God, Hartford City. Survivors include her daughter, Terri Wilt; three sons, Danny Wilt, Benny (Wilma) Wilt and Jerry (Verna) Wilt, all of Muncie; a brother, Billy Terry, Columbus, GA; as well as several grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Keith, she is preceded in death by a brother, James E. Terry; and a sister, Marie G. Whitworth. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2009 in the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Eaton. Friends may call at the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until services Thursday.
