Nellie Beatrice Reagan, 92, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

Beat was born on June 29, 1924 in Jamestown, Tennessee to Henry and Verta (Crockett) Stephens. She attended school in Tennessee and married Walter Reagan on June 1, 1946 in Jamestown.

Beat and Walter would move to Eaton, Indiana where they would raise their six children. Over the years, she worked at several different factories but finished her career at Overhead Door in Hartford City in 1972. After retiring, she enjoyed spending her time at Hoosier Park.

She is survived by her children: Gail Truman (Harry), Roger Reagan and Milton Reagan; three sisters: Shirley Cooper, Louise King, and Ann Rich (Charles); grandchildren: Cathy Roberts (Steve), Wendy Schliessman (Gary), Angela Truman (Jason), Scott Truman (Lee Ann), Amy McLeland (Shannon), and Chase Reagan; great-grandchildren: Amber Locker, Andrew Roberts, Luke Schliessman, Jake Schliessman, Blake Reagan, Majenica McLeland, Austin Reagan, Aundra Reagan, and Brianna McLeland, great-great-grandchildren: Gracie Locker, Eli Collins, Riley Collins, and Daxon Horn, as well many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Beat was preceded in death by three sons: Hank Reagan, Tex Reagan, and Mitchell Reagan, five brothers, Kirby, Cosby, Eugene, Lanvan, and Travis, three sisters: Dorothy Beaty, Imogene Hinds, and Pauline Stephens, a grandson, Alan Reagan, and a daughter-in-law Viola.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory, Muncie.

Memorials may be made in her name to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231.
