Opal Mae Hart, long-time Eaton resident, passed away on June 28, 2017 at the Waters of Muncie.
Opal was born in Fleming County Kentucky to Henry and Sarah (Wallace) Daily. She moved to Eaton where she worked at Eaton Foods from 1956 to 1986.
She attended the Eaton Nazarene Church where she taught Sunday School for over 25 years.
She is survived by her children: Irvin Hart (Linda), Thomas Hart (Lanora), Walter Hart (Kristi), and Phillip Hart (Debbie), a sister, Lorena Reynolds, daughter-in-law Jane Hart, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Opal was preceded in death by two sons, Howard Hart, and Gilbert Hart, a brother, Alexander Daily, and five sisters: Ollie Margaret Corner, Helen Riley, Florence Daugharty, Delores Purcell, and Berniece Mansfield.
Visitation for family and friends will from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 3, 2017 at the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton. Private funeral services and burial will be made at Gardens of Memory, north of Muncie.
