Sgt. Paul E. Frontz, Jr. (RET), 72, affectionately known by his friends as “Tim” and TCM”, died on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at his home.
Paul was born on December 19, 1948 in Muncie, Indiana to Paul Sr. and Violet (Winner) Frontz. He graduated from Albany High School and served his country in the U.S. Army.
Disabled from his service in the Army, Paul passed the time by working as a service attendant at Bowen’s Standard Oil in Albany. He was well known in East Central Indiana as the “Turtle Hunter” and for the meals he shared made from his catches. Paul was also a member of the American Legion in Albany and finally Ridgeville.
He is survived by his children: Lloyd Thompson, Jr. (Ruby), Chuck Frontz, Brian Frontz, and Melissa; the mother of his children: Louise Frontz as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Frontz, Sr. and Violet Hayth and a brother John and a sister Debbie and a grandson, Shadden Frontz.
Graveside funeral services with Military Funeral Honors by the Delaware County Veterans Honor Guard will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Eaton Union Cemetery with Earlene Lamperd officiating.
