On August 14, 2023, Peggy Arlene (Hardesty) Davis passed away unexpectedly at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. Peggy was born on June 21, 1949, in Muncie, Indiana to Merrit and Helen (Thomas) Hardesty. She was the middle of three children raised in Eaton, Indiana. Peggy went on to graduate from Eaton High School in 1967, then later married the love of her life, Larry Gene Davis, in 1969. Nursing was more than a profession to Peggy; it was her calling. After being a nurse and teacher for 30 plus years, Peggy then spent her days supporting her grandchildren through their sports and academic achievements. Family was very important to Peggy, she loved taking photos and cherished filling her house with memories of her family.
