Scotty Wayne Strunk, 68, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at his home with his family at his side.

Born June 20, 1955, to Paul Eugene and Zora Evelyn (Cox) Strunk in Jellico, Tennessee, Scott grew up in Delaware County, attending Delaware Community Schools. On September 13, 1980, he married the love of his life, Ann Horton in Eaton.

Scott was a life-long member of Eaton First Baptist Church and along with his wife Ann, he fostered several children through the years. He worked for RockTenn in Eaton, retiring after many years of employment.

Scott was a loving husband and an amazing uncle. He enjoyed playing guitar and writing songs. He was well-known throughout the Eaton community for decorating for holidays, especially Christmas. To many he was referred to as “The Duck” for his spot-on impersonation of Donald the Duck.

He is survived by his children, Crystal Callahan and Shirley Fox (Jeremy); grandchildren, Khloe Callahan and Ayeasha Callahan; his loving stepfather, Robert Henry “Pops” Newton; siblings: Paul Strunk Jr. (Bonnie), Sandy Strunk, Judy Millikan (James) and Debbie Strunk; nieces and nephews: Paul “Bub” Strunk, Larry Strunk, Lorri Strunk-Loser (Cris), Kristy Swoveland (Aaron), Sheri Currey (Jerry), Krystal Jones (Joshua), Jennifer Winchester (Sam), Brigett Bridges (Chance), and Brianna Phillips; as well as many friends.

Scott was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ann Strunk; mother, Zora Evelyn Newton; father, Paul Strunk Sr.; his niece, Jamie Millikan and two nephews: Allan Anglin and Gary Strunk.

In accordance with Scott’s wishes, there will be no public funeral services.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Pitman-Richman Funeral Home of Eaton, Indiana.
