Tanya L. Reed, 69, passed away on Saturday May 9, 2026, at the Waters of Hartford City after a brief illness.

Tanya was born on March 20, 1957, in Elwood, Indiana to Marvin and Virginia (Merideth) Wilkerson and grew up in northern Delaware County where she attended Delta schools.

Tanya owned and operated Reed’s Flowers and Gifts in Eaton for several years.

She is survived by her son, Cody Burns (Heather), grandchildren: Carson Burns, Hadley Burns, and Brinley Burns: brothers and sisters: Bill Horton, Brenda Brumley (Dave), Mark Wilkerson (Teresa), John Wilkerson (Kay), and Julie Duvall; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Tanya was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Strunk and her brother Rick Wilkerson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S Hartford St., Eaton. Burial will follow at Eaton Union Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be prior to services from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m.
