Thomas E. Graves, 86, died on Monday, December 8, 2025, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
Thomas was born in Muncie on August 17, 1939, to Thomas and Matilda (Tomey) Graves. He graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1957 and served his country in the US Marine Corps. On April 8, 1960, he married Patsy K. Baker and together they made their home outside of Eaton.
Thomas worked for Chevy in Muncie, retiring after 42 years. He was a long-time member of UAW Local #499, Tri-State Gas Engine, the Eagles of the NRA, White River Antique Tractor Association, and the IHC Collectors Association Chapter 7.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Patsy Graves; his children: Ron Graves and Jill Graves; three grandchildren: Brittney Flick, Zach Cochran and Mckenzie Rammel (Dominic); great-grandchildren: Abigail and Brandon Rammel, and many friends.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Michael Graves.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S Hartford St, Eaton with Rev. Clyde Wallace officiating. Burial will Military Honors by the Delaware County Veterans Honor Guard will follow at Eaton Union Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home, prior to the funeral, from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m.
