Eaton, IN
Toni Lynn Davis, 62, loving mother and grandmother, passed away at home, with her family at her side on Friday, June 27, 2025, after a 4-year battle with cancer.
She fought hard for years and faced it with a positive attitude and a smile on her face. Through the years of treatment, she still managed to make it to ball games, recitals, band concerts and meets to cheer on her grandkids. She was a lifelong resident of Eaton and most of her working career was spent at Del-Com Schools working as a custodian. Toni took pride in not only her job but also took time out of each day during her lunch duty to talk to students who were often alone or on the outside of the 'in' crowd. She left a lasting impact on students who were often overlooked.
She was born on October 30, 1962, to Joe Holeman and Philena (Jones) Brookshire. Toni left a lifelong legacy of love and kindness to each person she knew.
She is survived by her children: Michelle (Allen) Hill, Kelly Davis, and Kristy (Joe) Yunker, Mackenziee Davis and Nicholas Davis; siblings: Jeff (Anna) Holeman and Kim (Vincent) Coffman
Michael (Lara) Hess and Diane Hess; Grandkids: Sarah Hill (Brayten Shockey), Dale Hill, Kaitlynn Burns and Addison Burns
Great Grandkids: Ivie Shockey; Ex-husband and also lifelong friend: Rick Davis; stepsiblings; Michael (Lara) Hess and Diane Hess, special friends and family, the Honorable Mentions: Emma Brown, Brady Gruwell, and Alex Hill, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Toni was preceded in death by her father, Joe Holeman.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, July 13th, 2025, at Eaton Church of God, Family Life Center, 700 E Harris St. Eaton.
