Virginia "Ginny" Lawson

Virginia Carline Lawson, 92, when home to the Lord on April 12, 2023.

Ginny to her family and Granny to the many others, she was born on July 17, 1930 to Claude and Ethel (Gibson) Merideth in Butler County, Kentucky.

She married Bob Lawson on October 22, 1983. Together they would make their life in Eaton. She was a long-time member of the Eaton First Baptist Church, enjoyed traveling with Bob, listening to bluegrass music but most important to her, was the love of her family, friends and the Lord.  

She is survived by her loving family, children: Bill Horton, Brenda Brumley (Dave), Tanya Reed, Mark Wilkerson (Teresa) and John Wilkerson (Kay); several grandchildren, even more great-grandchildren, step-son, Rick Wilkerson (Tina), her step-children: Debbie, Robert, Linda and Tammy and Ginny's special friend, Bob Newton.

In addition to her parents, Ginny was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lawson; her daughter, Ann Strunk; two sisters, Louise Marcum and Vergie Parks and her a grandson, Joey Wilkerson.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Pitman-Richman Funeral Home 200 S Hartford St., Eaton.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 15th at the Eaton Frist Baptist Church 510 E Columbia Ave., Eaton with Pastor Dewayne Loveless officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Muncie.
