Willa M. Adams, 91, loving wife, mother and life-long caregiver, died on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Albany Health and Rehabilitation.

Willa was born on September 9, 1929 in Muncie, Indiana to Lester and Helen (Hahn) Keeley. She married Robert E. Adams on November 23, 1946 in Greensburg and went on to graduate from Muncie Central in 1947.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Ball State University School of Nursing and later completed her nursing education at Anderson College. Willa worked for over 40 years at Ball Memorial Hospital, first as an LPN and later as a registered nurse at Fountain View Nursing Facility and Westminster Village.

Willa was a member of the Eaton United Methodist Church. She was an avid gardener who took pride in her flowers and who also loved to can her vegetables.  Willa was a long-time member of Methodist Women, ABWA, American Business Women’s Association, Good Sams camping group, Eastern Star and American Legion.

She is survived by her children: Robert Adams (Terri), Gregory Adams (Valarie) and Jennifer Horsley; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a son-in-law John Horsley and a daughter-in-law, Janie Adams.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Adams; son, Todd Adams; a brother, Clyde Keeley and her sister, Patsy Hodson.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 13th, 2021 at Gardens of Memory 10703 N State Road 3, Muncie.
