William Ryan Flannery, 8, passed away on Tuesday morning, February 20, 2024, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
William was born on June 5, 2015 to Ryan and Ashley (Fisher) Flannery. A Lego and Uno master, William enjoyed baseball, swimming, basketball, NASA and anything aerospace as well as spending time at the lake with his family.
He is survived by his parents, Ashley and Ryan Flannery; three brothers: Chase, Hunter and Evan Flannery; grandparents: Dale and Gayle Flannery and William “Bill” and Vicki Fisher; aunts and uncles: Lindsay Resmer (Devyn) and Julie Sovizdraniouk (Slav); and his cousins: Riley, Reese, Roman, and Emma.
Funeral services for William will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Community of Hope, 1968 W Main St., Muncie, IN 47302 with Pastors Colin and Heather Cress officiating.
Friends and family and invited to gather at the church starting at 10:30 a.m. Monday.
Private burial will be made at Gardens of Memory.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to bring a Lego set to the funeral to donate to the Riley Children’s Foundation.
